Pictures on a job

The Photos tab holds the pictures from the visit. No pictures yet. A before and an after are what settle an argument about this visit later.

Adding one. Add pictures, then Choose a picture and say whether it is Before, After or Other. A What this shows, in a few words is worth writing: six months later nobody remembers which cupboard that was.

Pick several at once. Pictures are shrunk on this device before they are sent, so photos straight off a phone are fine, and you can name them afterwards. If one is still too large after that you are told plainly: That picture is too big to store even after shrinking it. Take it again at a lower resolution.

Before and after sit side by side, in pairs, which is the whole reason a service business takes them. A visit with only one of the two shows No before picture or No after picture in the empty half, so a missing before is obvious while the crew is still on site rather than in an argument afterwards.

Pictures are not documents. They live on the job itself, so they work with no cloud drive connected and they do not end up in the customer's contract folder. Product sheets, certificates and the paperwork you are obliged to file are documents, and those are on the Documents tab: Document storage

Adding and removing a picture are both written to the Trail tab, so it is answerable who took a picture off the record and when.
