Remind the customer and the technician the day before a job

Reminders are switched on per kind of job, because a window clean and a heat pump install need different words. In the job settings, open Opgavetyper and click the kind of job: its page has a SMS-påmindelser section, where a switch turns each reminder on at once and the words are saved when you click out of the box. You can also tick them when you make a new kind of job.

Two reminders.

• Send SMS til kunden dagen før: "we are coming tomorrow at 08:00, please make sure we can get in". It goes to the job's contact person, else the number on the customer, the same person a text from the job goes to.
• Send SMS til montøren dagen før, med hvad der skal medbringes: the time, the customer, the address and the goods and materials on the job. It goes to everyone on the crew and the person responsible, to the mobile number on their profile.

Both go the day before the job, from 15:00 in your workspace's time. A job that is moved to another day is reminded again for its new time. A job that is done or cancelled is not reminded.

The words. Each reminder starts with our own wording in your language, with the kind of job, the date and the time filled in. Change it in the box, using the same tags as Text the customer about a job, plus {{job_type}} for the kind of job and {{job_bring}} for what to bring. Under the box you see the message filled in with a made-up job, and how many text parts it costs. Brug standardteksten puts our wording back. Send til mig texts it to your own phone.

Test mode. For now reminders are in test mode: nothing is sent to customers or technicians. Each job shows in its history what would have been sent, to whom, so you can check the words and the timing on real jobs first.
