Marketing

Marketing runs on the same records as the rest of DealJourney. An audience is a live query over your customers and contacts, not an exported list — so it never goes stale, and a reply to a campaign lands on the same timeline as the sales conversation.

The module is organised into five groups of surfaces.

Plan — a calendar of what is going out when, and a budget view. Worth using even if you send little: the calendar is what stops three teams emailing the same customer in one week.

Create — campaigns, journeys, newsletters, and a content studio for the material they use. Campaigns and Journeys.

Audience — audiences and segments, capture forms, and lead scoring. Audiences and segments.

Measure — attribution, which ties revenue back to what caused it, and performance for the sends themselves.

Governance — consent, the preference centre, suppression, deliverability and retention. Consent, unsubscribes and deliverability.

Where it meets the CRM. A capture form creates leads (Leads); a landing page is where that form usually lives (Landing pages); scoring decides which leads are worth a call.

Start with governance, not with a send. Consent, a working unsubscribe and a clean suppression list are what keep you out of trouble and out of spam folders — and they are far harder to add after you have emailed ten thousand people.
