Chat on your phone
What it is. A stripped-down version of DealJourney holding only the two things worth using on a phone: Teamchat and Dealy, side by side at the bottom of the screen. No sidebar, no CRM around it. Everything else stays on the computer, because the rest of DealJourney is built for a screen you cannot fit in a pocket.
Open it at /mobile-app. It signs you in with the same account you already use, and it stays signed in.
Putting it on your home screen. Do this once and it stops being a website: full screen, no address bar, its own icon.
On Android, open the address in Chrome. A message pops up with an Installér button: tap it. If you closed that message, Install app is still in Chrome's ⋮ menu. On iPhone, open it in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. Apple gives no shortcut for this — the app has to be added by hand.
The two tabs. Teamchat is the same chat as on the computer: the same channels, the same unread marks, the same threads. Read something on your phone and it is read on your computer a moment later. Dealy is the same assistant, with the same access to your data, so you can ask it to find a customer or log what just happened on the way back from a meeting.
The Dealy tab only appears if your plan includes it.
Opening linked issues. Tap an issue key in a message, or an issue in the conversation's linked issues list. It opens in a bottom drawer above your chat. Close the drawer to return to the same conversation. The drawer shows the issue details and actions your account is allowed to use; see Check a fix and say whether it worked.
In the full issue drawer, tap an attached image to open its preview. Pinch to zoom and drag to read different parts of it. You can also use Zoom ind, Zoom ud and Nulstil to return to the fitted image. Closing the preview returns to the issue.
Swipe back. In a conversation, drag to the right to reveal the channel list underneath. A short drag returns to the conversation; a longer drag or quick flick goes back. Scrolling up and down and swiping a message to reply still work as usual.
In the home-screen web app, a CRM page opened from a Dealy message slides with your finger as you go back. The conversation stays underneath, keeping its position and draft. Starting a fresh page directly does not create a previous conversation to return to.
Notifications. Turn them on from the prompt the app shows the first time you open it from the home screen. On iPhone this only works once the app is on your home screen — added by hand as above — because Apple does not deliver notifications to a page open in a browser tab.
Unread counts show on the app icon itself, so you can see there is something waiting without opening anything.
