Channels

Creating one. Name it after the thing it is about, not the people in it — people change, the subject does not. Under Opret i you pick the Sektion: Hvor denne kanal ligger i sidepanelet for alle.

Organising the sidebar. Ny kategori makes a category — Information, Fejl og ønsker… — and Træk kanaler hertil to fill it. Flyt op, Flyt ned and Omdøb do the rest. Channels with no category sit under Kanaler.

Tilføj til favoritter pins the handful you are in every day to the top. Kun ulæste collapses the sidebar to what actually needs you, and Ingen ulæste kanaler is the empty state worth aiming for.

Deciding how loud a channel is. Kanalindstillinger → Notifikationer:

• Alle beskeder — for the few you genuinely need live.
• Kun omtaler — the right default for most.
• Intet — for a channel you read when you choose to.

Slå kanal fra goes further: Fraslagne kanaler tæller ikke med i ulæst-tælleren.

Automated posts have their own switch — Statusændringer på sager og andre automatiske opdateringer bliver lagt i kanalen. Vælg om de skal tælle som ulæste her, eller følg din egen standard fra Indstillinger. — so a channel that receives status updates can stay quiet without silencing the people in it.

Reading and re-reading. Markér som læst, Markér som ulæst and Markér som ulæst herfra let you park a conversation for later honestly, instead of leaving it unread and hoping. Use Gå til dato to get back to a specific day, and Fastgør besked for the message people will keep asking about.

Finishing with a channel. Arkiver kanal takes it out of the sidebar and keeps the history searchable. It shows as Arkiveret. Archive rather than delete — the reasoning in an old channel is usually worth more than the tidiness.

Members. {{count}} medlemmer is shown in the header, along with {{count}} medlemmer · {{viewing}} læser dette nu. Channel owners can Gør til kanaladmin so more than one person can manage it.
