Channels

Creating one. Name it after the thing it is about, not the people in it — people change, the subject does not. Under Opret i you pick the Sektion: Hvor denne kanal ligger i sidepanelet for alle.

A forum instead of a conversation. A channel can also be a forum, where every topic is its own post with replies. See Forum channels.

Issue channels. Dedicated issue channels are grouped automatically under Sager, including newly created ones. They stay in that section instead of moving into favourites or a personal category. Tenant and super-admin issue channels keep separate sections. Archived and personally hidden conversations stay in their respective sections.

Using Tilknyt en sag in a regular conversation keeps it a regular conversation. You can also use Knyt en sprint from Tilknyttet arbejde without making it a dedicated issue channel. An issue or sprint link alone does not put it under Sager. Sidebar grouping does not change who can access a conversation, its members, or its notification settings. Resolving or reopening a linked issue does not archive or reopen a regular conversation. Automatic archiving applies only to dedicated issue channels.

Organising the sidebar. Ny kategori makes a category — Information, Fejl og ønsker… — and Træk kanaler hertil to fill it. Flyt op, Flyt ned and Omdøb do the rest. Channels with no category sit under Kanaler. Super admins see ordinary tenant conversations under Kundechats, separate from their super-admin conversations.

Tilføj til favoritter pins the handful you are in every day to the top. Kun ulæste collapses the sidebar to what actually needs you, and Ingen ulæste kanaler is the empty state worth aiming for.

Giving a channel its own icon. Open Kanalindstillinger and click the square next to Kanalnavn. Under Emoji you pick any emoji. Under Ikon you pick a symbol from the same icon set the rest of DealJourney uses, and the row of dots underneath colours it, which keeps a tidy, matching look across the list. The icon shows in the sidebar at the same size as people's profile pictures, so a channel is as quick to spot as a face. Fjern ikon puts back the default symbol for the channel's type. Only channel owners and admins can change it.

What comes first. Every section starts sorted by Seneste aktivitet: the conversation someone last wrote in sits at the top. Automatic lines, such as an issue changing status or being closed, do not count, so tidying up an old issue does not lift its conversation back up. Conversations nobody has written in for two weeks are tucked away at the foot of their section behind Vis {{count}} ældre. Anything unread, and the conversation you have open, always stays listed. To choose a different cut-off, or list everything, use Gem stille samtaler væk.

Every section heading has the same menu: right-click it, or use the Afsnitsindstillinger gear next to it. That is where the sort, the filters and Vis ulæste når afsnittet er foldet sammen live.

Finding your own conversations. Open Sortér og filtrér above the list, then hover over Sortér og filtrér to open its submenu. You can also open the submenu with a tap or the keyboard. Kun mine samtaler keeps every conversation you started, wrote in, were mentioned in, or own an issue for. Kun dem jeg har indberettet is narrower: only the ones you started, or whose issue you reported, so a reply you left in someone else's issue does not pull it in. To keep everything but see it by owner, choose Efter indberetter: yours come first, then everyone else's grouped by the person who raised them. Private channels, direct messages, favourites and the conversation you have open always stay listed, and the unread badge only counts what the filters leave on screen.

Keeping your sidebar focused. Right-click a conversation and choose Skjul kanal to move it into the collapsed Skjult section. This also mutes that conversation for you, so its unread messages stop adding to your chat badges. It does not remove other members or archive the conversation. To bring it back, expand Skjult, right-click the conversation, and choose Vis kanal. Showing it also unmutes it.

Deciding how loud a channel is. Kanalindstillinger → Notifikationer:

• Alle beskeder — for the few you genuinely need live.
• Kun omtaler — the right default for most.
• Intet — for a channel you read when you choose to.

Slå kanal fra goes further: Fraslagne kanaler tæller ikke med i ulæst-tælleren.

Automated posts have their own switch — Statusændringer på sager og andre automatiske opdateringer bliver lagt i kanalen. Vælg om de skal tælle som ulæste her, eller følg din egen standard fra Indstillinger. — so a channel that receives status updates can stay quiet without silencing the people in it.

Reading and re-reading. Markér som læst, Markér som ulæst and Markér som ulæst herfra let you park a conversation for later honestly, instead of leaving it unread and hoping. Use Gå til dato to get back to a specific day, and Fastgør besked for the message people will keep asking about.

Finishing with a channel. Arkiver kanal takes it out of the sidebar and keeps the history searchable. It shows as Arkiveret. Archive rather than delete — the reasoning in an old channel is usually worth more than the tidiness. Archiving also clears whatever was still unread in the conversation, so the archive does not sit on a count you never meant to keep. If you would rather it stayed unread, turn Arkivering markerer en samtale som læst off in Choose which notifications you get. Anything written after you archived still shows its badge on the row, so a conversation that comes back to life tells you.
