Check a fix and say whether it worked

An issue can be attached to the conversation it came out of. The post carries a small chip with its key; open it and you get the issue itself — where it stands, what has happened to it, and the two answers only you can give.

Where it stands. The status is the whole message, and there is no second thing to check:

• ⟦Pågår⟧ — somebody is working on it.
• ⟦Fikset lokalt⟧ — the fix is written, but it is not running anywhere you can reach yet. Nothing to try.
• ⟦Under vurdering⟧ — it is live and it is your turn. This is the only status that ever means "go and test this", and it is set automatically at the moment the fix goes live, not before.
• ⟦Omarbeidelse⟧ — it came back to us.
• ⟦Løst⟧ — done.

Answering. On an issue that is Under vurdering, open it from the chip and you get ⟦Ble dette fikset?⟧ with two answers:

• ⟦Det virker⟧ — closes it. Add a note if you want; it is not required.
• ⟦Fortsatt ikke fikset⟧ — sends it back with what you wrote. The note is required here: Fortell hva som fortsatt skjer først. Your words go on the issue as they are, so whoever picks it up reads what you saw rather than a second-hand summary.

It was closed and it is still happening. Open it and you get ⟦Ikke fikset likevel?⟧ instead — the same Fortsatt ikke fikset button, which puts it straight back on the list.

Why it matters. You are the one who tried it, so nothing is lost relaying it. The answer, the reason and the change all land in one place, and everyone in the channel sees it happen.

If the buttons are not there, the issue is not Under vurdering or Løst — it is either not ready to test or already back with us, and there is nothing to answer yet.
