Questionnaires
A questionnaire is a form you send to somebody specific: an onboarding intake, a scoping questionnaire before a project, a satisfaction survey after one. They open a link, answer, and the responses come back attached to the customer or contact you sent it to.
Three things make it different from a generic form tool:
- It is keyed to a record. You send it to a named customer, and the answers land on them — not in a separate inbox somebody has to reconcile.
- No login. The recipient gets an unguessable link. Nothing to create, nothing to remember.
- It autosaves. A long questionnaire can be abandoned and resumed, which is the difference between a 15-question form being completed and being closed at question four.
Questionnaire versus capture form. A capture form sits on a public page and collects strangers, who become leads: Add a form to a landing page. A questionnaire goes to someone you already know.
Questionnaire versus a document to sign. If what you need is agreement to wording, that is a document with fields: Documents and signing. If what you need is information, this is the tool.
