Dealy, the assistant
Dealy is the assistant built into DealJourney. You open it with Open Dealy, and it can search your CRM, answer questions about your data, create and update records, and explain how DealJourney works.
Two things about what it can see:
- Your company only. Dealy works inside the company you are logged into and nowhere else. It cannot reach another customer's data.
- Your permissions only. Dealy sees what you would see if you clicked around yourself. If your access is limited to your own records, so is Dealy's.
Dealy runs in two modes. The default, Dealy (CRM), works with the records in your company. Company & market research builds a longer brief from public sources on the internet and does not touch your CRM — so if you ask it to update a record while in research mode, it cannot.
What to expect of its answers. Dealy is good at finding a record, summarising what happened with a customer, drafting text, and doing the repetitive record-keeping. Be careful asking it for exact totals — "how many sales in this region", "what is the total value" — because a number it reports is only as complete as the search behind it. When the number matters, build a filter or a report on the list page and read the total there. Dealy can build both for you.
If Dealy tells you it does not have something documented, that is honest rather than a brush-off, and it can log the question so the gap gets filled.
