Conversation context

The small ring shows Kontekstvindue. In the side panel it is in the header; in the full conversation it is beside the message controls. Hover over it, focus it with the keyboard, or tap it to see the measured number of tokens and the model's capacity. The ring fills clockwise and changes from green through yellow and orange to red as the context fills.

The measurement includes the messages, instructions and tool results sent in Dealy's latest measured model request. It updates after model calls, rather than as you type. The total work done across a conversation is a different number: repeated requests do not accumulate in this indicator. Cached text still occupies context space and is counted once.

A question mark means no measurement is available for this conversation. It does not mean the conversation is empty or full.

Near capacity, use Start ny samtale to start with a fresh context window. Your earlier conversation remains in the history. If Dealy has summarized older context, the panel says so; the full conversation remains available to scroll through.

The context indicator is separate from AI credits, which are shared across your company.
