Change Dealy's language, and dictate to it
Dealy answers in the language you write in. Send it Norwegian and it replies in Norwegian, even if your interface is in English — that is the normal case and needs no setting. If a reply comes back in the wrong language, the usual cause is a message with no real language signal in it, such as a bare "ok" or a pasted company name; the next proper sentence puts it right.
To change the language of the interface — menus, buttons, labels — set Sprog in Kontoindstillinger. The choices are English, Norsk, Svenska and Dansk. This is your own setting and changes nothing for colleagues.
If you want Dealy to answer in a particular language regardless of what you write, say so once and ask it to remember — see "Tell Dealy how to work and what to remember".
Dictating instead of typing
Use Stemmediktering in the message box to talk rather than type, which is much faster for anything longer than a line.
- Start dictation, and Lytter… shows it is listening. Optager — brug feltet nederst på skærmen. Du kan scrolle på siden mens du taler.
- Press Afslut og tilføj diktering when you are done, or Annuller diktering to throw it away.
- The text lands in the message box for you to check before sending, so a misheard word costs an edit rather than a wrong instruction.
Dictation follows the language you speak — you do not set it separately. It also does not need to match your interface language, so an English interface and Norwegian speech work together.
On Safari, the browser asks for microphone permission the first time. If nothing happens when you start dictation, permission was refused at some point and has to be re-allowed for the site in the browser's own settings — DealJourney cannot grant it for you.
If a recording fails to transcribe, Dealy offers to retry it rather than losing what you said: En dikteringsoptagelse blev ikke transskriberet. Prøv igen?
