Choose what happens when you click a phone number
Every phone number in DealJourney is clickable: in lists, on a customer or contact card, in a ticket, and in the dialler. What a click actually opens is decided by your computer, not by DealJourney, so the only thing we control is the kind of link we hand it. That is a company-wide choice, and it lives under Admin in Arbeidsområdeinnstillinger, in ⟦Klikk for å ringe⟧: Hva som skjer når noen klikker på et telefonnummer i DealJourney.
- 1⟦Lenketype⟧ - De fleste telefoner og softphones svarer på tel. Velg callto hvis softphonen din bare registrerer den, for eksempel TelecomX Communicator. - tel: (telefoner og de fleste softphones) is the default and the right answer for mobiles and most desktop softphones. - callto: (for Skype for Business og TelecomX Communicator) - sip: (Zoiper, Bria og andre SIP-klienter) - Egendefinert lenke, for a softphone that registers its own address. Then fill in Egendefinert lenke: Adressen softphonen din registrerer, med {number} der telefonnummeret skal stå. For eksempel mysoftphone://call?to={number}
Check it before you save.
If nothing happens when you click a number, the link is reaching your computer and your computer has nobody to hand it to. Open your softphone's own settings and let it register as the handler for calls, then try again. If it only offers to register one kind, pick that same one here.
The country code is only added to numbers that do not already have one. A number saved as +47 or 0047 is left exactly as it is, so a company with customers in several countries can safely set the code for its own.
This setting does not affect Telavox. If your company uses the Telavox integration, a click places the call through Telavox and only falls back to this link when that does not work.
