Rename CRM words across your workspace
A workspace administrator can rename the CRM words used in translated screens. The choice applies to everyone in that workspace, including screens added in later releases, without editing each label separately.
- 1Open workspace settings at the route above, then find Workspace wording below the workspace-language setting.
- 2Choose Record type and Language. Set wording separately for each language your colleagues use.
- 3Enter your preferred wording beside each original written form. Quotes, leads, activities, customers, contacts and the other built-in business record types are available in the selector. Fill the different grammatical forms yourself; DealJourney does not invent their endings.
- 4Choose Save wording. The wording changes immediately. If saving fails, the previous wording returns and your draft remains for retry.
A blank field uses the original word. To undo a rename, clear its field and save again. An individual label already customised with in-app text editing keeps that explicit wording, which takes precedence over this shared word list.
Only complete words in translated screen text change. For example, renaming the Danish *tilbud* does not change the compound *tilbudsnummer*. Where one written form covers both singular and plural, it receives one shared replacement. Supply suitable wording for that form rather than expecting automatic grammar.
Customer and record names, your own sidebar labels, saved messages and free text are preserved. This setting does not rewrite generated offer documents, outgoing emails, or Dealy's answers. It applies to interface translations, not the underlying records or the language chosen for the workspace.
