Channels

Creating one. Name it after the thing it is about, not the people in it — people change, the subject does not. Under Skapa i you pick the Sektion: Var den här kanalen ligger i sidopanelen för alla.

Organising the sidebar. Ny kategori makes a category — Information, Buggar och önskemål… — and Dra kanaler hit to fill it. Flytta upp, Flytta ner and Byt namn do the rest. Channels with no category sit under Kanaler.

Lägg till i favoriter pins the handful you are in every day to the top. Endast olästa collapses the sidebar to what actually needs you, and Inga olästa kanaler is the empty state worth aiming for.

Deciding how loud a channel is. Kanalinställningar → Aviseringar:

• Alla meddelanden — for the few you genuinely need live.
• Endast omnämnanden — the right default for most.
• Inget — for a channel you read when you choose to.

Tysta kanal goes further: Tystade kanaler räknas inte i olästa-räknaren.

Automated posts have their own switch — Statusändringar på ärenden och andra automatiska uppdateringar läggs in i kanalen. Välj om de ska räknas som olästa här, eller följ din egen standard från Inställningar. — so a channel that receives status updates can stay quiet without silencing the people in it.

Reading and re-reading. Markera som läst, Markera som oläst and Markera som oläst härifrån let you park a conversation for later honestly, instead of leaving it unread and hoping. Use Gå till datum to get back to a specific day, and Fäst meddelande for the message people will keep asking about.

Finishing with a channel. Arkivera kanal takes it out of the sidebar and keeps the history searchable. It shows as Arkiverad. Archive rather than delete — the reasoning in an old channel is usually worth more than the tidiness.

Members. {{count}} medlemmar is shown in the header, along with {{count}} medlemmar · {{viewing}} läser detta nu. Channel owners can Gör till kanaladmin so more than one person can manage it.
