Team chat
Teamchatt is internal conversation inside DealJourney. It works the way you expect chat to work — channels, direct messages, threads, mentions, files, reactions — with one difference that is the whole point: it sits next to your customers and deals, so the conversation about a deal and the deal itself do not live in two different products.
Open it from Teamchatt in the top bar. The badge reads Teamchatt, {{count}} olästa.
The pieces:
- Channels — a named conversation anyone in the channel can read. Channels
- Direct messages — one person, or a few. Direct messages and mention groups
- Threads — a side conversation off one message, so a channel does not become three overlapping arguments. Threads
- Mentions and activity — one place for everything that named you. Mentions, your activity queue, and search
- Guests — people without a DealJourney account, invited into one conversation and nothing else. Invite someone from outside
Why not just use email. A channel keeps the history where the next person can find it. When somebody new picks up an account, the reasoning is there, rather than in the sent items of whoever handled it last.
Dealy is in here too. Name him in a message and he answers in the conversation, with your CRM data available to him: Ask Dealy inside a conversation
Chat is not the CRM record. A decision made in chat that matters to a customer belongs on the customer as a note, and chat can turn a message into one: Turn a chat message into CRM work. Anything only in chat is invisible to everyone who was not in the channel that day.
