The Goals tab
The Goals tab — Published goals and the projects driving them.
It connects delivery to strategy: each published objective for the period, and the projects driving it.
The tab, and the Goals section on a project, only appear when your workspace has the Goals module. Without it there are no objectives to link, so they are hidden rather than left empty.

- 2Against an objective, Link a project… and Search projects….
- 3From a project, the reverse: Link a goal….
Unlink project and Unlink goal undo it.
What it is actually for. An objective with no projects behind it is a wish — nobody has been given time to move it. A project driving no objective is work you have chosen to do for some other reason, which may be perfectly fine but should be a decision rather than an accident. Both are visible here in one screen, and both are worth acting on.
No projects driving this goal yet. under an objective, in the middle of a quarter, is the finding to chase. Ask what is meant to move it before the period ends and the retrospective explains it after the fact: Write a retrospective.

Nothing to link yet? No published goals this period — Publish an objective for this period on the Goals page to align projects to it. An objective has to be published for the period before it appears: Set up objectives and key results on the Goals page, then link projects to them here to connect strategy to delivery. Set up goals and Manage goals take you there, and Open in Goals opens a linked objective in full. See Create a goal.
Linking does not move a goal on its own. Progress still comes from check-ins against the key results: Check in on a target.
