Create a goal

The first time anyone opens Mål, the cadence dialog opens so periods exist to put goals in. Choose quarterly, monthly or annual, set when the fiscal year starts, and Gem og generer perioder. After that, periods are generated for you — there is no separate "new period" button.

To add a goal:

1. 1Open Mål from the sidebar.
2. 2Pick the period at the top, then click Tilføj mål.
3. 3Write the Mål in words. Mål bør være kvalitative og inspirerende — gem tallene til nøgleresultaterne nedenfor.
4. 4Set the Niveau — individual, team, or company — and the owner or team it belongs to.
5. 5Add at least one target under Nøgleresultater. A target is the number, or a done/not-done milestone, that settles whether the goal happened. You can also add targets later from the goal card.
6. 6Opret mål, or Gem kladde if it is not ready to be seen in alignment yet.

A goal with no targets is just a sentence. Progress has nowhere to come from, and the page will sit at zero until you add something measurable.

Drafts are hidden from Projects alignment. Publish with Udgiv when the goal is real work, not a sketch.

Live data instead of typing a number. When you add a target, the Datakilde can be Manuel sporing or a live metric. Dette opdateres automatisk fra dine realtidsdata Manual targets need check-ins; live ones need Synkroniser data.
