The Absence tab
Fravær is a month calendar of who is away, per person. Its real job is feeding capacity: a plan that does not know about three weeks of summer holiday will cheerfully commit people who are not there.
Registering it. Registrér fravær, or Registrér fravær denne dag straight on the day. In the dialog set Person, Type, Start and Slut, plus a Note (valgfri) — f.eks. familieferie i Spanien
Part of a day is Delvis dag (reducerede timer) with timer fri pr. dag (Angiv mellem 0,5 og 24 timer), shown as Delvis dag. Use it for the recurring half-days — a fixed short Friday, a standing appointment — which otherwise never make it into the plan at all and quietly cost you a day a fortnight.
Requesting versus registering. If you are asking rather than recording, Send anmodning: Din anmodning sendes til din leder til bekræftelse, før den påvirker teamkapaciteten. It shows as Afventer — Afventer at en leder bekræfter anmodningen, før den påvirker kapaciteten.
So pending absence does not protect anybody. A manager clearing Afventende anmodninger with Bekræft is what actually stops the person being booked. Leaving requests sitting is the failure mode worth naming: the holiday is approved in conversation, never acknowledged here, and the planner books over it.
Reading it. {{count}} personer fraværende i {{month}} in the header, Fraværstyper for the types, and Kommende fravær for what is coming. Ingen er fraværende i {{month}}. when nobody is away. Vis alle widens it past your own team.
Absence is not the same as logged time off. This is the plan; hours recorded against internal work are the timesheet: Timesheet.
