Turn features on and off

Not every part of DealJourney is switched on for every company. Several modules are off by default and enabled per company, which is why a colleague at another firm may have a page you do not.

When a page is missing, there are two different causes, and it is worth telling them apart before asking for help:

1. 1The feature is off for the company. Nobody has it, and an administrator has to enable it.
2. 2Your role cannot see it. Others have it and you do not. That is Role Access, under Åtkomst & behörighet.

A capability that is off is not a capability that is missing. If Dealy tells you a feature is switched off — reading the documents in a record's folder is the common one — that means the ability exists and your company has not turned it on yet, not that DealJourney cannot do it.

Turning a module on makes it available; it does not configure it. A newly enabled module usually still needs its own setup before it is useful, and it appears for everyone whose role allows it as soon as it is on.
