Give a client a view of their project

Bjud in någon utanför företaget att följa det här enda projektet. De ser framdrift, milstolpar, filerna du delar och kommentarerna du delar. Interna diskussioner förblir interna.

Choose the files deliberately. Filer de kan se lists the project's documents and you pick which ones they can see. Nothing is shared by default, which is the right way round.

What they get. A single page with Framdrift, Det här är klart och det här kommer, Planen if you allowed it, Delade filer, and Konversation — Inga meddelanden ännu. Allt du skriver här går till projektteamet. Du ser bara det här enda projektet.

No account, no password, no sight of your CRM.

Showing the task list is a judgement call. It answers most "where are we" emails before they are sent. It also exposes every wobble — a task that has been on hold for three weeks is visible. If the plan is honest, share it; if it is a working scratchpad, do not.

Keeping track. Vilka har åtkomst shows each guest with Extern and either Senast öppnad {{date}} or Har inte öppnat länken ännu — which tells you whether "I never saw that update" is true.

Skicka länken igen if their link has gone astray; Ta bort åtkomst when the project ends. After that they see Den här länken är inte längre aktiv — Din åtkomst till projektet har upphört eller så har länken gått ut. Be den som bjöd in dig att skicka en ny.

Revoke at the end of every project. An access that quietly persists for years is the kind of thing nobody notices until it matters.

For a conversation rather than a project, chat guests are the equivalent: Invite someone from outside
