Keep a project's emails on the project
A project has an E-post tab, next to Dokument. It shows every email attached to the project, and it is where you write and attach more.
- 1Open the project and select E-post.
- 2Mail already attached to the project is listed newest first, sent and received together.
- 3To write one, use the compose action on the tab. What you send is attached to the project automatically.
- 4To attach mail you have already received, use the import action. It searches your connected mailbox for messages involving the project's people and lets you pick the ones that belong here.
The people it searches for are the linked customer's contacts. A project has no email address of its own, so it borrows the customer's. A project with no customer on it can still show and send mail, it just has nobody to look for when you go hunting for received mail to attach.
Attaching an email does not move it. It stays in your mailbox exactly as it was. The project just gains a link to it, so the next person to open the project can read the thread without being forwarded anything.
Your mailbox has to be connected first. Without it the tab can still show what has been attached before, but it has nothing to search. See Email and calendar sync.
