Reuse project plans with templates
Project templates are reusable plans shared within your workspace. Each keeps task groups, tasks, subtasks, their order, descriptions, priorities and estimated minutes. Changing a template never changes projects already created from it.
Create a template
- 1In the projects view, open Prosjektmaler.
- 2Choose Ny mal, enter a Malnavn, and describe when it is useful.
- 3Use Legg til oppgavegruppe for phases and Legg til oppgave for the work inside each phase. Tasks can also live outside a group.
- 4Use Legg til underoppgave for smaller steps. Open Oppgavedetaljer to set a description, Prioritet or Estimerte minutter. Open Oppgavehandlinger to reorder or remove a task. Press Enter in a task title to add another task at the same level. Collapse a group to focus on another phase. If you remove a task or group by mistake, choose Angre before saving.
- 5Choose Lagre mal.
To reuse a plan you already have, open the project and choose Lagre prosjekt som mal at the top of the page. The same action is available in the project's detail panel and inside Prosjektmaler on its Oppgaver tab. Review the copied plan, remove any customer-specific wording in task titles or descriptions, name it, and save. The original project is unchanged.
Use a template
For a new project, select a template under Start med in the project creation dialog, or preview it in the library and choose Opprett prosjekt fra mal. Give the new project its own name and customer details, then create it as described in Create a project. The picker is searchable. Use Forhåndsvis oppgaver to inspect the tasks before creating the project.
For an existing project, open Oppgaver, then Prosjektmaler, select a template and choose Legg til i dette prosjektet. Its groups and tasks are appended. Existing work is kept; applying the template again adds another copy.
New tasks start as to-do, with nobody assigned and no dates. Completed work, logged time, comments, files, recurrence, dependencies, milestones and customer links are not copied. Assign people and dates after adding the plan.
Maintain the library
Search the library by name or description and select a template to preview its groups, tasks and estimated time. To adapt a shared template independently, open Flere malhandlinger and choose Lag en kopi. Name and save the new copy.
Its creator and users with full project access can use Rediger mal or Slett mal. Deleting a template removes it from the library; projects that used it keep their tasks. Read-only users can preview templates but cannot create, edit, delete or apply them.
