Arrange a document — blocks, parties and printing it out
A document is a stack of blocks — a heading, a paragraph, a clause, a parties box, a pricing table, a signature line. This is how you move them around.
Add a block anywhere. Legg til blokk sits under the last block and appends to the end. Legg til blokk øverst sits above the first one, for a cover paragraph or a heading that belongs before everything already written. Either way you get the same list of block types.
Duplicate a block. Every block's header carries Dupliser blokk. The copy lands directly underneath the original and is edited separately from then on — a second signature line, or a clause you want twice with one word changed.
Move a block. Dra for å endre rekkefølge, or use Flytt opp and Flytt ned for one step at a time. Skjul blokk (beholdes i utkastet) — a hidden block stays in the draft and is left out of everything the counterparty sees.
Reorder the rows inside a parties box. A party card starts with Org.nr., Adresse and E-post, and Legg til felt adds your own rows underneath. Dra for å endre rekkefølge: grab the handle to the left of any row and put it where you want it. The order you set is the order that prints, so you do not have to delete rows and re-add them to get the address above the organisation number.
Print it and sign it by hand
Not every counterparty wants to sign on screen. Last ned PDF gives you a copy to print: En kopi fylt ut med alt vi vet, klar til å skrives ut og signeres for hånd. Det som fortsatt mangler skrives ut som en linje å fylle inn på.
That last part matters. A merge field with nothing behind it yet prints as a ruled line rather than as {{customer.name}}, so the printed page reads as a contract and can be completed with a pen. What the document already knows — your own company details, the date, and the customer or deal it was created from — is filled in for you.
A signature block prints the same way: a rule with the role and a place for the name and date underneath.
This is a copy for paper. It is not the signed record — that is produced when the document is signed in DealJourney, and it carries the audit certificate with it. See Send a document for signature.
