Change a field on many products at once

1. 1On the Products page, narrow the list to the products you want to change (search, a tab, or showing archived products).
2. 2Tick the products. To take every product that matches, tick the header box and then choose the option to select all matching products, not just the page on screen.
3. 3Choose Ret felt in the bar that appears.
4. 4Under Felt, pick one of Kategori, Enhed, Momskode or Indtægtskonto.
5. 5Enter the Ny værdi and confirm.

Category and sales account can be left empty, which clears them on every selected product. Unit and VAT code must be a choice. A new VAT code also updates the VAT rate on each product, exactly as when you edit one product.

Each product is saved the same way as when you edit it by hand, a few at a time, and the dialog shows how far it has got. If some products could not be saved you are told how many, and the rest keep their new value.

Product type and price are not changed in bulk. Switching a product between one-time and recurring changes recurring revenue and billing, and a recurring product also needs a pricing period, so open each product and change it there: The four kinds of product.
