Build a report that lists records, not totals
Most reports answer "how much". A report with ⟦Kolumner⟧ answers "which ones": one row per record, with the fields you pick, exactly like the customer or contact table.
- 1Open Rapporter and start a new custom report as in Build a custom report.
- 2Pick the Datakälla you want to list.
- 3Under Visualisering choose Tabell. A Kolumner card appears underneath it.
- 4Use Lägg till en kolumn for each field you want to see, and the arrows to put them in the order you want to read them.
- 5Narrow it with Lägg till villkor the same way as any other report, and set Sortera efter to whichever column should decide the order.
- 6Save it, and it behaves like every other saved report: share it, pin it to a dashboard, or email it on a schedule.
Adding the first column changes what the report answers. With no columns a table report shows totals, which is what it has always done. With columns it lists records instead, so metrics, grouping and the time grain no longer apply and their cards come off the panel.
A report is a page, not the whole list. It returns as many rows as the row limit allows and says so underneath when it has hit that limit. Raise the limit or tighten the conditions rather than assuming you are looking at everything.
Money is only visible to people who may see money. A report listing deals, invoices, subscriptions or orders needs the same access as those pages themselves, whoever opens it and whoever it is emailed to.
⟦Exportera⟧ gives you the same rows as a spreadsheet, in the column order you chose.
When you only want to look, not to save, The Explore tab does the same job without creating anything, and a list page's own saved view (Save and share a view) is the right home for a set of filters you use while working rather than one you report on.
