Saved SMS texts

Templates live with the other message templates: open Maler and pick the SMS tab.

2. 2Insert Flettefelt for anything that changes per recipient.

4. 4When texting, pick it under Maler in the composer, check Forhåndsvisning, and send.

Templates are how SMS stays short. Written fresh each time, a message grows — a greeting, an apology for texting, a sign-off. Written once and reviewed, it stays inside one segment, which is both cheaper and easier to read on a lock screen. See Send an SMS from a customer or contact for how segments are counted.

Always preview. A template with a merge tag that the particular record cannot fill produces Uløste: {{tags}} — the same trap as email, but without the chance to spot it in a sent folder afterwards.

Include a way out on anything marketing-like. Recipients must be able to stop the messages, and a template is the right place to make sure that line never gets forgotten: Consent and opting out
