The whole exchange stays on that record, so the next person to open it sees what was said without asking you.
Merge tags. Flettefelt inserts a value from the record — a first name, a date, an amount — so a message you send fifty times is personal each time. Forhåndsvisning shows the real text before you send, and warns you about Uløste: {{tags}} and Ikke fylt inn: {{tokens}}.
Never send with an unresolved tag showing. A text that arrives reading "Hi {{firstName}}" is worse than no text at all, and unlike an email you cannot recall it. The preview exists precisely so this never happens.
Length costs money. Segment and segmenter count how many messages your text will actually be billed as. A message is 160 characters, but any special character — an emoji, an en-dash, a Norwegian letter in some encodings — can drop the limit to 70. The counter shows this live, so a three-segment message is visible before you send rather than on the invoice.
Trimming a message from 170 to 155 characters cuts the cost by a third for nothing but a little editing.
Sending the same thing repeatedly is a job for a saved template: Saved SMS texts. Sending it automatically when something happens is a workflow rule: What a rule can do.
