Edit an activity
To change an activity:
- 1Open Aktiviteter from the sidebar.
- 2Find the activity. The time and status filters above the list are usually faster than searching.
- 3Open the menu at the end of the row and choose Rediger aktivitet, or open the activity itself.
- 4Change what you need: headline, type, deadline, priority, assigned user, or the record it is linked to.
- 5Save.
Several fields can be changed straight from the list without opening anything: click the cell for the deadline, status, priority, or Tildelt bruker and edit it in place. This is the quickest way to reassign or push a batch of work.
To change only the next follow-up date, use Sett oppfølging from the row menu.
Choices save themselves
On the activity itself, anything you pick rather than type saves the moment you pick it: Status, Type, Prioritet and the deadline date and time. There is no need to scroll back up to save. Text you type, such as the headline, still waits for the save button, so nothing is written while you are half way through a sentence.
More than two people responsible
An activity is not limited to a main and a stand-in. Click the plus beside Ansvarlig bruker and keep adding people; everyone on the list sees the activity in their own list of work. The first person is still the main owner, which is what reports and reminders follow.
Sales, contracts and the linked object beside the notes
The panel on the right of an open activity carries cards for the company's Abonnement and Mulighet, the checklist, and the object the activity is attached to. Two more things you can do there:
- The cog on a card chooses which details it shows, so a car can show its registration and mileage rather than only its name. The plus on the object card attaches an object to an activity that has none.
- Kommende møter is a card of its own and starts switched off. Turn it on with the eye control while Rediger layout is on, and the next meetings with the company sit beside the notes.
Read the customer's notes
The Kundenotater box on Notater og logg shows the linked customer's Notater field, so you can read that background information while working on the activity. It is separate from the activity's timeline notes. To change it, open the customer and edit their notes there. Use Rediger layout to move or hide the box.
Move the deal without leaving the activity
When an activity is linked to a deal, the Mulighet box beside the notes lets you move the deal without opening it. Click the Fase next to the deal's name to pick a new one, or click the Avslutningsdato to pick a new date, and the deal is updated straight away. This saves the usual trip out to the deal and back after a call.
Both controls only appear when they are among the fields the box shows. The cog on the box chooses those.
Choosing the won stage asks you to confirm first, because winning a deal also creates the subscription behind it. Everything else applies immediately.
You can also build your own tabs on an activity, with whichever panels you want on them. Which records you can build tabs on
