Message customers on WhatsApp. Conversations appear in the same log as SMS.

Connecting. Open the WhatsApp settings and use Connect WhatsApp. Connect your own WhatsApp Business Account. DealJourney never owns or resells your number. — you keep the account, and it stays yours if you ever leave.

Once live, the page shows Connected, your WhatsApp number and the Business name shown to customers.

The 24-hour window is the rule that surprises people. Once a customer messages you, you may reply freely for 24 hours. Outside that window you may only send an approved template — you cannot simply start a conversation with free text. That is Meta's rule, not ours.

Templates therefore matter more than in SMS. Meta has to approve every template before you can send it. Approval usually takes minutes, but Meta can reject one.

1. 1New template: give it a Name, Language, Category and Message.
2. 2Use placeholders for the parts that change per recipient. Meta rejects text that starts or ends with a placeholder.
3. 3Submit for approval — Sent to Meta for approval. This usually takes a few minutes.

⟦Messaging limit⟧ — How many different people you may start a conversation with per day. Meta raises this as you send more good-quality messages. So a first big campaign will hit a ceiling; that is expected, and it lifts as your sending record builds.

Quality is scored. Quality: {{value}} reflects how recipients react. Blocks and reports lower it, and a low score reduces your limit — which is the real reason to be careful about who you message.
