Share a report and put it on a dashboard

A saved report lives under Reports and can be opened again by anyone allowed to see it, so the usual way to "send" a report is to point colleagues at it rather than mail a snapshot that is out of date by the time it arrives.

Put the numbers where people already look. A report that matters weekly belongs on the dashboard as a widget, not in an email nobody opens. The dashboard is the first thing people see when they sign in, which makes it the only reliable place to put a number you want acted on.

Sending it by email instead. A report can be emailed on a repeating schedule, and a set of figures you pick can be sent as a digest without building a report at all: Email figures to yourself or your team on a schedule.

Exporting. When the figures have to leave DealJourney (a board pack, an accountant, a spreadsheet model), export the report. What you get is what the report currently shows, so check the date range before exporting rather than after.

What colleagues see is still limited by their own access. Sharing a report does not widen anyone's permissions: someone who cannot see other people's opportunities will not see them here either, so the same report can legitimately show two people different totals. If a colleague's number disagrees with yours, check their role access before assuming the report is broken.
