Search across everything

Global search is the box at the top of the app, the one that reads Søg i dit arbejdsområde... It looks across leads, opportunities, customers, contacts, activities, subscriptions, invoices, support tickets, projects and contracts at once, and takes you straight to a record.

If your workspace uses custom objects, those are searched too, and each one appears under its own name.

  1. 1Click the search box at the top of the page.
  2. 2Type at least a few characters of the name.
  3. 3Pick the record from the results to open it.

A company that is not in your workspace yet. If you can create customers and your workspace has Prospect Finder, choose Søg efter "{{query}}" i Prospect Finder below the results. The company lookup opens with your search already filled in. Pick a company, review its details, then create the customer through the usual flow. Existing customers are marked in the lookup so you can avoid creating a duplicate. See Search for companies. To skip the lookup, choose Opret firmaet "{{query}}": a new company opens with what you searched for already filled in as its name. This is there even if your workspace does not have Prospect Finder.

Help articles. The same box finds help too. Once you have typed a few letters, a short Hjælpeartikler group appears at the bottom of the results with the articles that match. Picking one opens the article in a panel at the side, so you stay on the page you were on. Records and pages never wait for it: they show first, and the articles join underneath when they are ready.

What it is not. Global search finds the best handful of matches by name, and a name that starts with what you typed comes before one that only contains it. It does not return every record that matches, and the number of results it shows is not a count of anything. If you need "all the opportunities on project 1980" or "how many customers in Aalborg", use the filters on the relevant list page instead. See "Filter a list".

When it does not find something:

  • Try a shorter, more distinctive fragment. One unusual word beats a full official company name, which often differs from what you remember.
  • Check spelling. Search tolerates some variation in word order and spacing, but it is still matching text. When nothing at all matches and a word looks like a typo of a name in your workspace, search offers Mente du with the corrected spelling. Picking it searches again with that spelling.
  • An archived company is left out, and so is a contact whose only companies are archived, the same as on the customer and contact lists. Choose Medtag arkiverede next to the record types to search them too. It switches off again when you close search.
  • A support ticket is found by its subject and who it came from, not by the words inside the conversation.
  • A contract is found by its number, by the deal it belongs to and by the customer. Picking it opens the deal on its contract tab, which is where the contract lives. Only people who can see the deal can see its contract.
  • Search looks at names. If what you remember is a value in a field (a project number, a postcode, a reference) search will not find it, and you want a filter on the list page.
