Choose what counts as a sale
Anyone who can open Momentum can change these. They apply to the whole company: leaderboards, streaks, challenges, duels and the TV screen all follow this choice.
- 1Open Momentum, then Indstillinger.
- 2Set Dagligt salgsmål and save.
- 4Save. Pick this before you start a challenge. Changing it mid-race rewrites
what yesterday's scores meant, and the board will not explain itself.

Pipeline deals are not sales.
The same page is where you pick the look of Momentum, what celebration media the team is allowed to play, and the TV screens. Those do not change the scores.
Deals in a stage configured as contract-signed also count as sales. Momentum uses the first signing or won date, so moving a signed deal to a won stage later does not count it twice or move it to another day. Lost deals remain excluded.
Momentum credits the primary owner, falling back to the sales representative. Its values use the deal total when present, otherwise the stored amount, with conversion into workspace currency. Older deals can use the close date when the original won/signature timestamp is missing.
The default deal rule does not wait for payment. An administrator can change this in Omsætningstidspunkt og kreditering when the revenue-scoring update is available:
- 1Choose Hvornår skal omsætningen tælle?: keep the current rule, use only won deals, signed contracts, issued invoices, or fully paid invoices.
- 2Choose Hvem får krediteringen?. A secondary owner can represent a booker or KAM if that matches the workspace's flow. This gives full credit to one person; it does not split revenue or calculate commissions.
- 3For invoices, choose Medtag moms i fakturaomsætningen. These choices require access to the invoices module.
- 4Press Gem omsætningsregler. A persistent confirmation or error appears beside the button. Unsaved choices send and change nothing.
Manglende betalingsdatoer, kladder, annulleringer og krediterede fakturaer udelades; negative reguleringer reducerer omsætningen. Invoice records without an amount are also excluded. Revenue counts invoices, not distinct deals: several paid invoices on one deal are separate records. Negative paid adjustments reduce the value but remain invoice records in counts. No invoice, deal, payment, salesperson or Plecto configuration is changed.
The choice applies to native Momentum boards, feeds, targets, streaks, competitions and TV screens when Aftaler og fakturaer is selected. Registered orders keep their separate confirmation rule. Reports still have independent definitions; compare their date, credit, VAT and status rules before expecting identical totals. Won reports can use close date while native won scoring uses a recorded won timestamp first.
The data tabs keep recent results when you return and refresh every 30 seconds while visible. Changes made in DealJourney refresh open Momentum results too.
Limit who can use Momentum
An administrator can keep Momentum to some roles only, for example administrators. In the role settings, set Momentum to no access for the roles that should not have it. People with those roles no longer see Momentum in the sidebar, cannot open its pages, cannot read its boards or feed, and get no sale celebration. View only lets a role look at the boards without posting, reacting, or starting challenges and duels. Their own celebration and own goals stay theirs to change.
