Connect Outlook or Microsoft 365
- 1Open E-mail & Kalender.
- 2Press Forbind Microsoft-konto.
- 3Sign in with your work account when Microsoft asks, and accept the permissions it lists.
- 4You are returned to DealJourney with the account connected. Mail and calendar begin syncing shortly afterwards.
Your IT administrator may have to approve it first. Many organisations require an administrator to approve a new app on the company's behalf before anyone can connect. If sign-in ends with a message about needing approval, that is what has happened: nothing is wrong with your account, and one approval covers everyone.
That screen offers Godkend for hele organisationen. If you are a Microsoft 365 administrator yourself, press it and you are done. If you are not, use Send dette til din it-administrator, which writes the message for you with the approval link in it, or Kopier godkendelseslinket to paste the link into a chat instead.
You do not have to wait for that message. The same Godkend for hele organisationen option sits under the connect options on E-mail & Kalender and offers all three choices: Jeg er administrator, godkend nu if you are the administrator, Kopier godkendelseslinket, or Send dette til din it-administrator. So anyone can send the approval on to the right person before the rest of the company runs into the wall.
What the administrator sees. They open the link, sign in with their administrator account, approve once, and get a page saying DealJourney er godkendt for din organisation. Two things are worth telling them up front, because getting either wrong is what makes this painful:
- The link does not connect their mailbox. It approves DealJourney for everyone and nothing else. An administrator account often has no mailbox behind it at all, and connecting one of those creates an account that can never sync.
- They do not need to find DealJourney anywhere first. The old advice was to open the Microsoft admin centre and look for DealJourney under enterprise applications. If nobody has approved it yet it is not there to find, which sent people down a dead end.
Sign in with the account you actually want connected. If you are already signed in to a different Microsoft account in that browser, it will be used without asking. Check the address shown after connecting, and reconnect from a private window if it is the wrong one.
Disconnecting. Use Afbryd forbindelse on the account. Dette vil fjerne adgangen til dine Microsoft-e-mails og kalender. Du kan tilslutte igen til enhver tid.
If the account is also a ticket inbox, disconnecting has a wider effect than your own mail: Afbryd forbindelse til Microsoft-konto. Dette vil fjerne adgangen til dine Microsoft-e-mails og kalender. Du kan tilslutte igen til enhver tid. Check before disconnecting a shared mailbox.
