Save views on a record's timeline
On a long-standing customer the timeline can hold thousands of entries. Scrolling for "what did the account manager say" does not work. Filter it instead, and keep the filters you use every day as tabs above the timeline.
Search and filter
Everything here searches the record's whole history, not just the entries already on screen.
- Type in Søg i hele tidslinjen to find entries containing every word you type, in any order.
- Open the filter button to build conditions with the same filter builder as the list pages (Filter a list): and/or groups, "is" and "is not", relative dates.
The fields you can filter on:
- Posttype: notes, emails, calls, tickets and so on.
- Skrevet af: a person, or Mig for your own entries.
- Forfatterens rolle på posten: Ejer, Sekundær ejer, or either. This follows the record, so one view of "notes by the owner" works on every customer, whoever manages each one.
- Forfatterens team, Forfatterens stillingsbetegnelse and Forfatterens afdeling, when your workspace has them filled in.
- Tekst, Dato, Retning and, on customers, Post (the contact, deal or activity an entry sits on).
The person picker starts with active users from your workspace's User Management. Turn on Medtag inaktive brugere at the bottom of the picker to also choose inactive or removed colleagues whose identity remains on historical records. This includes people originally imported from another CRM. Existing filters keep their selected person when you turn this option off; the option only changes which people the dropdown offers, not which history exists.
Keep a view as a tab
- 1Set up the search and filters until the timeline shows what you want.
- 2Click + at the end of the tabs, name the view and create it.
- 3Open the view's menu and choose Del med arbejdsområdet if the whole team should have it. Until then only you see it.
Views are kept per kind of record: customers, deals and contacts each have their own. Alle is always there and shows everything.
Quick tabs: notes, the latest note, or only changes
Every timeline (customers, contacts, deals, leads, subscriptions and activities) has three quick tabs next to Alle, because field updates on a busy record can bury what people actually wrote:
- Noter: only the notes.
- Seneste note: only the newest note, for a quick read of where things stand.
- Ændringer: only the field updates and other changes, such as a moved deadline or a new owner.
An activity opens on Noter until you pick something else. Every other record opens on Alle. The tab you pick is remembered for you per kind of record, on every device, until you pick another.
Whenever a tab, a search or a filter hides part of the timeline, a line under the search box says so, for example "Showing 12 of 340 entries, 328 hidden by this view", with Vis alt to go back to everything in one click. If emails or calls seem to be missing from a timeline, check that line first.
A dot on the tab means the filters on screen differ from the saved view. Save them into the view, or just move on: unsaved changes are dropped when you leave the record, so a filter you forgot about never follows you to the next customer. The tab you last used is remembered.
Who can change a shared view
The person who made a view can rename, re-save, share or delete it. A view shared with the workspace can also be changed or deleted by an admin. Anyone else can use a shared view and save its filters as a new view of their own.
Pinned entries stay at the top whichever view is open (Pin something to the top of the timeline).
