Decide what a job needs before each status
Every workspace decides for itself what a job must have before it may move into a status. An electrician might say a job cannot be marked done without a photo of the finished work; a window cleaner might require nothing at all.
Setting it up. Open Job settings (the same page as Set up your job statuses) and find Vad ett uppdrag behöver före varje status. Every status you use is listed. Press Kräv next to a status and tick what it needs. You can choose from the built-in checks, such as Kund, Kontaktperson, Planerad tid, Minst en person i arbetslaget, Adress för uppdraget, Minst en bild, Minst en levererad rad, Pris på varje levererad rad and Signerat av teknikern. You can also choose any field you added to jobs yourself, marked Ditt fält. Each tick saves straight away. Remove one with the cross on its chip.
What happens on a job. When someone tries to move a job into a status and the job is missing something, the move is refused and the message lists what is missing, so it can be fixed on the spot. This applies whoever makes the move, including a technician signing off their work. There is one exception: when you give a draft job a time, it normally moves to your scheduled status by itself. If that status needs something the job does not have yet, the time is saved and the job stays where it was. The job's trail says why.
Before it can be invoiced. At the top of every job's Overview is a checklist of what still stands between the job and its invoice: Innan uppdraget kan faktureras. It always checks for a customer, at least one delivered line and a price on every delivered line. It also shows anything your invoicing status requires, and whether the job is waiting for an approval. When every item is ticked the checklist says Klar.
