You are not getting notifications

Work down this list — it is ordered by how often each one turns out to be the cause.

1. The switch is off. Open Profil og innstillingerVarsler and check the row for the event you expected. In-app, email and SMS are three separate switches, so email can be off while the bell has been working all along.

2. You do not own the record. Notifications follow ownership. If the deal is assigned to a colleague, nothing about it will reach you, however interesting it is. See What actually sends you a notification.

3. The email went to spam. Notification email comes from our sending domain, not from your own mailbox. Check the junk folder, and if it is there, mark it as not spam so the next one lands properly.

4. For SMS specifically, three things stop it, and the settings panel tells you which: no mobile number on your profile (Du har SMS-varsler aktivert, men ingen telefonnummer på profilen. Legg til ett for å motta dem.), a number without a country prefix (Telefonnummeret ditt er ikke i internasjonalt format. Oppdater det med landskode (f.eks. +47…) — SMS-varsler trenger dette for å nå deg.), or a number that has opted out (Nummeret ditt har reservert seg mot SMS fra denne leietakeren (sannsynligvis etter et tidligere STOPP-svar). Kontakt en leietakeradministrator for å aktivere SMS igjen.). The first two you fix on your own profile: Change your name, photo and contact details.

5. Quiet hours are on. Demp SMS-varsler i disse timene. Varsler i appen og på e-post påvirkes ikke, så du ser fortsatt alt når du er tilbake. So a missing SMS at 22:00 is often working as configured.

6. Toasts are off, and you assumed they were notifications. The pop-up preview is a separate setting from the notification itself — Vis et midlertidig varsel på skjermen slik at du kan handle uten å åpne varselpanelet. With it off, notifications still arrive silently in the bell.

If none of those explain it, the history page shows every notification that was actually generated for you. If the event is listed there, it was sent and the problem is delivery; if it is not, it was never raised, and the cause is one of the first two.
