Write a quick note from anywhere

A quick note is for the thought you want to write down now, wherever you are in the app, before you have opened the record it belongs to.

1. 1Click Hurtignotat in the top bar, or press N on any page when you are not typing in a field.
2. 2Give the note a title if you like, and write.

There is no save button. The note is saved as you type, and the panel stays open while you click around the page behind it, so you can read a customer while you write about it. Press N again, or close the panel, to put it away.

Your notes are listed on the left of the panel, the most recently changed first. Search them with Søk i notater, and start another with Nytt notat.

Write on a record. Open Notater on an activity, customer, deal or project to use the full tab as a notebook. Notes created there are connected to that record automatically. The list includes your private notes and the team's public quick notes on that record. Someone else's note opens for reading; only its author can change it. Use Forrige and Neste when the list spans several pages.

Workspace admins can remove or restore this tab through the record's layout controls. On a project, open Tilpass faner to do that. Removing the tab does not delete its notes. DealJourney can also switch off the entire quick-note and whiteboard feature for a workspace; ordinary timeline notes remain available.

Connect it to a record with Koble til en oppføring and search for a customer, contact, opportunity, lead, activity, subscription, job, project or one of your own custom objects. The note then appears on that record's timeline like any other note. When you open the panel on a record's page, it offers to connect to that record in one click. A note is connected to one record at a time; click the cross on the record to disconnect it.

Public or private. A note is Offentlig unless you choose Privat. A public note connected to a record is seen by everyone who can open that record. A private note is seen by you and nobody else, also when it is connected to a record, and Dealy does not read it. On a timeline, your private notes carry a lock.

A whiteboard inside the note. Click Legg til tavle to add a drawing to the note. It shows as a card in the note and on the timeline; click it to open it full size and draw. Only the person who wrote the note can change the whiteboard; everyone else who can see the note sees the drawing.

Delete a note with the bin icon in the panel. Its whiteboard is deleted with it.
