Start a quote from a person's card

A quote always belongs to a deal in DealJourney, so quoting a person means starting their deal first. The person's card does that for you in one step.

How to do it

1. 1Open the person from Kontakter in the sidebar.
2. 2Click Nytt tilbud in the row of buttons at the top of their card.

A new deal opens with its quote ready to fill in, and with the person and the company they belong to already set. Adding products and prices works the same as on any other deal: Add products to an opportunity

Nothing is saved until you save the deal, so backing out costs you nothing.

Everything this person is quoted on

The Tilbud tab on their card lists every deal the person is attached to, what stage it is at, what it is worth and when it is due to close. Clicking a row opens that deal.

A person can be on a deal two ways: as the main contact, or as one of several people involved. The tab shows both, and marks which is which. Turn on Bare der personen er hovedkontakt to narrow it to the deals they lead.

If you meant an existing deal

The button always starts a NEW deal. When you are quoting something already in play, open it from the Tilbud tab instead and add the quote there. Two quotes on the same piece of work belong on one deal, otherwise the same money is counted twice in your pipeline.

Who sees the button

Only people allowed to create deals. It is missing for anyone whose access is read only.
