Connect Monitor ERP

Use this when your company runs Monitor ERP. The connection is in Alpha: it brings your Monitor customers into DealJourney, and it never changes anything in Monitor.

Monitor runs on your own server rather than in the cloud, so you connect DealJourney to that server. The connection belongs to the whole workspace, and only a workspace admin can set it up.

Before you start

You need three things, which your Monitor partner or IT department can give you:

• The address your Monitor server is reachable on from the internet. If the server is only reachable inside your office network, DealJourney cannot reach it.
• Your company number in Monitor, for example 001.1.
• A Monitor user for DealJourney. Create a separate one rather than using a person's login: Monitor allows one session per user, so a shared login would log that person out of Monitor. The user only needs permission to read customers.

The API option must be switched on in your Monitor system. Reading is included for every Monitor customer.

Connect it

1. 1Open Markedsplads from the sidebar and choose Monitor ERP.
2. 2On Forbindelse, fill in Serveradresse, Firmanummer, Brugernavn and Adgangskode. Leave Port as it is unless your partner gave you another one.
3. 3Select Gem og test forbindelsen. DealJourney logs in and checks that it can read your customers.

If the test fails, the page says why in plain words: a wrong password, a server that cannot be reached, or the API option not being switched on.

Kontrollér servercertifikatet is off by default, because Monitor servers usually carry their own certificate. Switch it on only if your server has a certificate from a public authority.

Bring in your customers

Open Kunder.

• Forhåndsvis shows the first customers as they will arrive, without saving anything.
• Importér kunder brings in every customer.

A Monitor customer that already exists here, with the same organisation number or email, is linked to the existing customer instead of being created twice. Only its empty fields are filled in from Monitor; nothing anyone typed in DealJourney is overwritten. Every other Monitor customer is created. A customer you deleted here on purpose is not brought back.

You can run the import again at any time, for example after adding customers in Monitor. Customers already linked are not duplicated.

Contacts, products, orders and invoices do not come across from Monitor yet.

Disconnect

Select Afbryd forbindelsen. DealJourney forgets the password and stops reading from Monitor. Customers that were already imported stay here.
