What the Visma.net fields are

A Visma.net customer or supplier carries facts DealJourney has no standard field for: the Visma number, VAT number, customer or supplier class, payment terms, credit limit, price class, currency, status, and every attribute your company defined in Visma.net. Every sync brings them in as fields on the company card. Out of the box each one gets a field of its own, created the first time a value arrives.

These values only ever come from Visma.net. Editing one in DealJourney does not send it to Visma.net, and the next sync puts Visma.net's value back.

Send a field somewhere else

Only a workspace admin can change this.

  1. 1Open Feltmapping.
  2. 2Pick Kunder or Leverandører. Each list is set separately.
  3. 3For each Visma.net field, choose where it goes: - Nyt felt: its own field. This is the starting point for every field. - One of your own custom fields, for example a "Visma ID" field you already have: the value fills that field instead, and no extra field is created. - Branche, under Standardfelter: useful for an industry attribute. - Importér ikke: the value is not brought in at all.
  4. 4Press Gem mapping. The next sync uses the new choices.

Nulstil puts every field in the list back to Nyt felt.

Good to know

  • One of your fields can take only one Visma.net field. A field already chosen for another row is greyed out.
  • When a field is moved away from Nyt felt, the next sync empties its old field on each company. The field itself stays on the card until you remove it in field setup.
  • Your own fields and Branche are only ever filled, never emptied. A company with no value in Visma.net keeps whatever its field already holds, so values people typed are safe.
  • If one of your fields that a row goes to is switched off, deleted or changed type, the row shows Ikke længere tilgængeligt. Pick another destination before saving.
  • On a company that is both a customer and a supplier, a field both lists send to the same place keeps the customer's value. The Visma number always works this way.
  • Your Visma.net attributes appear in the list after the first sync has brought them in.
  • Contacts have no extra Visma.net fields, so they are not in this list.
  • A Visma.net contact's Active box follows the person's relation to that contact's company. Untick it in Visma.net and the relation turns inactive in DealJourney; the person stays. Deactivate or remove that relation in DealJourney and Active is unticked in Visma.net, when contacts are sent to Visma.net automatically. In that case a person left with no company is also archived, and an archived person's Visma.net contacts are unticked. Nothing is deleted in Visma.net.
  • Inactive customers, suppliers and contacts in Visma.net are not brought into DealJourney, nor are the contacts of an inactive customer, and the sync preview shows them as blocked. One already linked to a DealJourney card keeps syncing, so an inactive customer is archived here. Make it active in Visma.net and the next sync brings it in.

The other tabs

  • Synkronisering previews and runs the sync for each record type.
  • Indstillinger holds the default currency, automatic sync and automatic sending to Visma.net.
  • Log shows the integration's recent activity.
