Match accounting-system salespeople to DealJourney users
Your finance system records who is responsible for each customer, and so does DealJourney. They are the same people, but neither system knows that on its own. Matching them up is what makes a customer arrive here already owned by the right person, and what puts the right name in the reference field on an invoice DealJourney sends across.
Where it lives. Ansvarlige personer fra ERP on the accounting integration's settings page. Each row is one person the finance system holds as responsible for at least one customer, with the DealJourney user they are linked to and how many customers depend on that link.
Link a person
- 1Press Hent fra ERP if the list is empty or somebody new has appeared. It reads the responsible person off every customer that is already synced.
- 2Where a row says Foreslået, DealJourney found one user with the same name. Press Accepter if it is right, or pick someone else.
- 3Otherwise use Kobl til bruger … and choose the person yourself.
An email address that matches exactly links on its own and shows as Koblet without anyone doing anything. A name match never links by itself, because two people can share a name and the link decides who owns customers.
Linking reassigns customers. Every customer that names this person and has no owner in DealJourney yet is given to the user you linked. A customer that already has an owner is left alone. A person chose that, and the sync does not overrule it.
When the list is only numbers
Some finance systems will not share their employee list with us at all. PowerOffice is one: it decides per integration whether the employee directory may be read, and does not currently grant it, so the only thing we ever learn about a salesperson is the internal number stamped on the customer.
Those rows show Person uden navn together with the employee number the finance system uses, the same number you see in its own employee list. Look the number up there, then use Tilføj navnet to type the name in. The row becomes linkable straight away.
A name you type is a stand-in, not a decision. If the finance system does start sharing names later, the real name replaces yours on the next sync.
What breaks when nobody is linked
- Customers arrive without an owner. They still sync; nobody is responsible for them in DealJourney.
- The reference field on an invoice stays empty. When DealJourney pushes a won deal across, it names the deal's salesperson as your reference, but only if that user is linked to a person on the finance side. With no link it sends nothing rather than guessing.
