Getting calls to actually connect
Calls run through your browser — Forbundet i browseren — over a telephony connection your workspace has to have. There are three things to get right.
1. The telephony connection. Without it you see Rigtig lyd er ikke konfigureret endnu – dette er en pladsholderlinje. and Forbundet i browseren (simuleret): the flow works, the list advances, but no real call is placed. That is deliberate — you can practise and set up campaigns before the phone side is live — but do not mistake it for working. Connect your phone system in the integration settings.
2. The browser. It needs microphone permission, and it must not be denied at the operating-system level either. A headset with a proper microphone is not a nicety here: laptop speakers plus a laptop microphone produce echo the person at the other end hears, not you.
3. The number you show. The caller ID the recipient sees comes from your telephony provider. A recognisable local number is answered far more often than an unknown or withheld one, and in several countries a withheld number on an outbound sales call is not allowed at all.
Failures to look at:
- Mislykkedes on every call — the connection, not the numbers.
- Kunne ikke starte sessionen. {{message}} or Kunne ikke hente næste nummer. {{message}} — reload and start the session again; logged outcomes are already saved.
- Kunne ikke lægge på. {{message}} — end the session, which closes the leg.
Test with your own mobile first. One call tells you whether audio works both ways and what number you appear as, which is a great deal cheaper to find out than on the twentieth prospect.
