Update a company's data from the register

Tilgængelig i alle planerSådan gør duÅbn i DealJourney

A company's registered details change without telling you: a new address, a new name, an industry that was never filled in. You can pull those straight from the business register onto a company you already have, without creating a second copy of it.

Do it

  1. 1Open the company from Kunder in the sidebar.
  2. 2Click Berig data, next to the company name at the top of its card.
  3. 3The register is searched on the company's registration number, or on its name when there is no number yet. Pick the right company from the list.
  4. 4You now see two columns: I DealJourney on the left, Fra registret on the right, one row per field that differs.
  5. 5Tick the rows you want, or use Udfyld kun tomme felter to take only what is missing and Hent alt to take the register's version of everything.
  6. 6Click Gem ændringer.

Nothing is written until you confirm, and only the ticked fields change. The company keeps its contacts, deals, notes and history. This updates the card you are looking at, it never creates a new company.

What is ticked for you

Empty fields are ticked automatically, because filling a gap takes nothing away.

A field you already have a value in starts unticked, and shows your value beside the register's. That is deliberate: a direct number someone replaced the switchboard with, or a trading name used instead of the registered one, is a decision somebody made here, and it should not disappear because the register disagrees. Tick it only when you want the register's version.

If everything the register holds already matches your record, you are told so and there is nothing to do.

What it can fill in

Company name, registration number, industry, industry code, street address, postal code, city, region, country, phone, email, website, number of employees and annual revenue, whichever of those the register holds for that company.

Fields the register knows nothing about are not shown at all. Your own custom fields are never touched here.

When nothing is found

  • The company has no registration number and its name is spelled differently in the register. Search the register's spelling in the box at the top of the dialog.
  • The company is in a country the register does not cover.
  • The register was unreachable for a moment. Close the dialog and try again.

Picked the wrong company? Use Skift virksomhed to search again. Nothing is written to the record until you save.

The same lookup runs while you create a company, so a company created from the register arrives with these fields already filled.
