Keep Plecto updated with DealJourney data

DealJourney sends data to Plecto. Plecto uses that data for dashboards and formulas; it does not fetch additional DealJourney fields by itself.

Choose what to send

A tenant administrator configures delivery after connecting Plecto through the integration marketplace. Existing connections start with automatic delivery off. Connecting alone does not export customer history.

Opportunities, orders, activities, customers, contacts, products and invoices are supported when the tenant has access to the corresponding module. Unavailable modules are hidden and cannot be exported. Each uses its own Plecto source. With Ta med alla fält off, only enabled saved mappings and the removed-record flag are sent.
3. 3Turn on Ta med alla fält to include available standard fields and tenant custom fields. Existing explicit field exclusions remain excluded. Credentials and internal connection secrets are not offered. Custom fields must belong to that dataset; related records are separate datasets, not automatically expanded into the same row.
4. 4Select a dataset name to choose Plecto-anställd för poster utan ägare if genuinely unassigned records should be credited to an existing Plecto employee. This does not override an unrecognised salesperson: their existing profile must first be linked in Plecto. DealJourney does not create employees or change team assignments.
5. 5Save with Spara leveransinställningar. The dataset details then show the required Plecto column names and types.

Existing field mappings let you choose individual fields, their reporting date and attribution instead of including all available fields. The selected date determines when a record counts in Plecto; an opportunity's expected close date and the date it was actually won are different business choices.

Keep it updated

Enable Håll Plecto uppdaterat automatiskt and save. Scheduled delivery runs every five minutes when the service is deployed and its scheduler is active. Changes from normal saves, imports and API updates are recorded for delivery. Recent changes take priority while the historical import proceeds in batches. History resumes from saved progress after an interruption.

Synkronisera aktiverade dataset nu queues delivery immediately and retries paused datasets. It uses the saved settings. It does not require automatic delivery to be enabled; the scheduler continues a requested historical import until it finishes. Turning automatic delivery off and saving pauses that work after the current batch. If a batch is running, wait for it to finish before changing settings.

Leveransförlopp shows whether history is loaded, pending records, errors and the last successful check. A failed batch stays queued. Temporary failures retry with increasing delays; after repeated failures, correct the reported problem and use Synkronisera aktiverade dataset nu.

Add a new custom field

With Ta med alla fält enabled, new custom fields are discovered automatically. Plecto requires additional columns to be added in its existing data source editor. DealJourney lists the required names and types and pauses that dataset until they match. Keep the existing source and its data; deleting and recreating it is unnecessary. Once the columns match, retry delivery. History is revisited so older records receive the new field too.

Corrections and removed records

An update replaces the corresponding registration in the linked source rather than adding another sale. Reporting dates are preserved according to the mapping. Records removed in DealJourney remain in Plecto with dj_deleted = 1; restored and active records have dj_deleted = 0. Configure Plecto formulas to exclude removed records. No Plecto registration is automatically deleted. Other Plecto sources and dashboards are not modified.

Test a single record without importing history

Expand an available dataset and open Testa en post. Keep automatic delivery paused and save any setting or mapping changes first. The dataset does not need to be enabled for this test, but it must already have a linked Plecto source; the test never creates a source.

This reads the saved mapping, selected record and Plecto configuration without sending data. Review the destination, salesperson, reporting date and values. Missing columns or an unlinked salesperson prevent delivery.

Skicka den här posten till Plecto sends exactly that record. It updates an existing registration for that record or creates one if absent, so formulas using the source can change. It does not enable automatic delivery, import history or change employees and teams. If the record or mapping changes after preview, preview it again before sending.

The separate Synkronisera aktiverade dataset nu button starts or resumes all saved, enabled datasets, including their history. It is not a single-record test.
