Put contract templates in folders
A long list of contract templates is easier to use in folders. A folder can sit at the top of the list, and it can be given to some teams or people only, so each salesperson sees their own templates first.
Nothing changes until somebody makes the first folder. Until then the list looks exactly as it always has.
Make a folder
- 1Open contract templates and choose Ny mappe.
- 2Give it a name.
- 3Under Hvem kan bruke den, tick the teams and people who should have it, or leave everything unticked for everybody.
- 4Save.
To rename it or change who has it, choose Rediger mappe on the folder.
Put a template in a folder
Choose Flytt til mappe on the template's row and pick the folder. Choose Ingen mappe to take it out again. The shared starter templates DealJourney provides cannot be filed; copy one first and file the copy.
Put the folders in order
Drag a folder by its handle. The order is the same for everybody in the workspace: folders come first in that order, then the templates in no folder. The same order is used when you choose a template to send a contract from a deal, with each folder's name above its templates.
Who sees what
- A folder with nobody ticked is for everybody.
- A folder with teams or people ticked is shown only to them, together with the templates inside it. Everyone else does not see the folder or its templates anywhere a contract template is chosen.
- A template can still be limited to teams on its own (Give a template to a team). Inside a folder, a person needs both: to have the folder and to pass the template's own limit.
- Administrators see every folder and every template, so they can manage them.
Delete a folder
Choose Slett mappe on the folder. Its templates are not deleted; they move back to the list with no folder.
