Open the public displays page and create one. Give it a title, choose its tiles, and set how often it refreshes.

The tiles available:

  • Revenue — current MRR, won this month, active subscriptions.
  • Pipeline — pipeline value, weighted pipeline (value × stage probability), open deals, deals closing this week, win rate, deals won this month.
  • Activity — new leads this month, active customers, overdue tasks.
  • Charts — MRR trend over twelve months, pipeline by stage, wins per month.
  • Extras — goal progress against a target, a gauge, a countdown to a date, a clock, and a free text tile.

Six tiles is plenty. A screen with twenty is a screen nobody reads. Pick the numbers you would want someone to glance at and change their behaviour — and be honest that most numbers do not qualify.

Pair a number with a target. "Pipeline value: 4.2M" means nothing to most people walking past. The goal progress tile, or a countdown to the end of the quarter next to it, is what makes it land.

Refresh interval: often enough to feel live, rarely enough not to be noise. Every few minutes suits most numbers; a countdown ticks on its own regardless.

Getting the link. Each display has its own address, and each slideshow has another. Copy it and open it on the screen device: Get a display onto a television.

Rotating the link issues a new address and kills the old one instantly. Do it when someone who should not have it does — and remember to update the device afterwards, or you will spend ten minutes wondering why the screen has frozen.

Deactivating takes a display offline without deleting it, which is the right move for a screen you only want up during a campaign.
