The big screen

Storskjerm is the momentum view built for a television on the wall: Dagens ledere, Ukens ledere, Siste salg and running totals — {{sales}} salg i dag, {{sales}} salg denne uken.

Setting one up:

1. 1Create the screen in Innstillinger — Ingen skjerm satt opp ennå — lag en under Innstillinger. until you do, and Gå til innstillinger takes you there.
2. 2Open the screen's address on the display device and Åpne storskjerm.
3. 3Forhåndsvisning shows it on your own machine first — Dette er en forhåndsvisning. Kast en ekte skjerm fra Innstillinger.

The celebration is the point. {{name}} landet nettopp et salg! fires the moment a deal is marked won, with Salg nr. {{index}}. A room that hears a win as it happens behaves differently from one that reads about it in a report on Friday — which is also why marking deals won promptly suddenly stops being a thing you have to nag people about.

Use a device that stays on. A cheap streaming stick or a spare laptop in kiosk mode, with sleep disabled and the display powered from the same switch as the office lights. A screen that is blank half the time is worse than no screen, because people stop looking.

For a display of reports or dashboards rather than the sales floor, there is a separate mechanism: Public displays
