The accounting page reads figures from the accounting system you have connected and shows them next to your CRM data. Connect an accounting system

⟦Resultaträkning⟧ — revenue and costs over the period you select. This is the tab you open to answer "did we make money last month".

⟦Balansräkning⟧ — what you own and owe at a point in time, rather than over a period.

⟦Trender⟧ — the same lines followed over time, which is where a drift shows up that a single period hides.

Set the period and the comparison first. The period runs from month to date through to all time, with a custom range if you need one, and the comparison offers the prior period or the prior year. A figure with no comparison beside it is very hard to judge; against the same month last year it usually interprets itself.

Prior period or prior year? For a seasonal business the prior year is the honest comparison — a January against a December says more about Christmas than about the business.

These are your accountant's numbers, not ours. Everything here comes from the connected system, so if a figure looks wrong the answer is in the bookkeeping rather than in DealJourney: a posting in the wrong account, a period not yet closed, an invoice not yet booked. Fix it there and it follows through on the next sync.

Sync timing matters. Figures reflect the last sync, so today's invoices may not be in yet. See How the accounting sync behaves.

Statements are backwards-looking. For what is coming, use the liquidity forecast, which works on expected cash in and out: Liquidity forecast.
