Price one project for several companies
When several companies ask you to price the same job — a tender where four contractors all bid, or two resellers quoting one end customer — they belong on one deal, not four copies of it. Copying the deal counts the project four times in your pipeline, and an addendum then has to be typed four times.
Put every company on the deal
- 1Open the deal. The company you created it for is already on it.
- 2In the left column, under the company name, use Lägg till företag to add the others.
Build the list once
Go to the Offerter tab and add the products on the base quote, exactly as you would for a single customer (Add products to an opportunity). Nothing here is specific to any of the companies yet.
Price it for each of them
- 1On the Offerter tab, choose Prissätt för företag ….
- 2Each company gets a row. The percentage is filled in from what they were given last time, or from the discount level on their customer card, and you can change it.
- 3If the quote covers more than one product group, open a company's row to give each group its own percentage — tiles at 30, adhesive at 15.
- 4Pick the person at that company who should receive the offer. Only their own contacts are offered, and only their own company is named on their offer.
- 5Confirm. Each company now has its own quote card with its own total.
The percentage replaces any discount already sitting on a line: it is the agreement against your list price, not a discount on top of a discount.
Send, and record who won
Open a company's card to send their offer, exactly as for any other quote (Email the offer to the customer). When one of them wins, choose Markera som accepterad on their quote:
- that company becomes the customer on the deal,
- their quote becomes the one the deal is worth,
- every other company's quote closes as lost, with its prices kept.
Those kept prices are the useful part: over time they show which discount level each company actually says yes to.
Standing discounts
A discount level is a named table of product group to percentage — "Level 2" might be tiles 30, adhesive 15, everything else 10 — set on a customer so you do not retype it on every job. A level with a single row covering everything is a flat percentage, which is how some accounts work.
