Add keywords that decide a match

Two lists, two jobs. Scan keywords sit on a source and decide whether a newly found document is a match. Extraction keywords apply to every source and tell the AI what to look for when it reads the document.

Scan keywords (per source)

1. 1Open Referat-inkorg, then Administration.
2. 2On the source, open Scan Keywords.
3. 3Type a term and add it. Click the weight (1–10) to change how much it contributes to the score — Klicka för att ändra vikt (1-10).

Extraction keywords (all sources)

On the same page, under Extraction Keywords, paste terms — comma-separated is fine — and add them. These do not rank the inbox on their own; they steer what the parse picks out of the PDF.

Start narrower than feels right. Too many broad terms and every document matches, so the inbox becomes noise and stops being read. Too few and the one that mattered never surfaces. Weight is how you recover without deleting the term: turn a noisy word down rather than removing it on day one.

After the first couple of weeks, the Keyword effectiveness tab in the inbox shows which terms actually contribute to scores. Adjust there, not from memory.
