Create a task

The quick way, and the one to use most of the time:

  1. 1Open the Uppgifter tab on a project, or the task list.
  2. 2Type into Lägg till en uppgift och tryck Enter…
  3. 3Press Enter.

In the task list, a new row shows your title while saving. It becomes a normal task once saved. If saving fails, your text stays in the add field so you can retry.

That is it — the task exists, unassigned and undated, and can be filled in later. Capturing it in three seconds while you are talking to someone beats a perfectly-specified task you never got round to creating.

On a new task in the task list, choose the customer before choosing its project. The project picker then shows only that customer's projects, with the customer name beside each. Leave the customer empty for internal projects, or choose Alla projekt to search every project. Changing the customer clears a project that belongs to someone else. Tasks created from inside a project keep that project's link automatically.

Adding the detail. Open the task and set:

  • Ansvarig — who owes it. Left as Ej tilldelad, nobody does.
  • Prioritet — Hög, Medel or Låg.
  • Förfaller and Start.
  • Uppskattning, if you want to compare it later with Faktiska timmar.
  • Kund and Projekt, so it can be found from the record rather than only from the list.

Subtasks. Use Lägg till deluppgift, or type into Lägg till en deluppgift och tryck Enter… A task with subtasks shows a Förlopp bar as they are ticked off, which is what turns "build the onboarding" from a single stuck row into something you can see moving. Drag to reorder them.

Blocked by something else. Link the dependency and the task shows Blockerad av {{count}} uppgift(er), so the reason it is not moving is visible on the row instead of living in someone's head.

Your own custom fields work here too — Hantera anpassade fält on the task list. See Add a custom field.
